Originally from the UK, Jordan moved to Playa del Carmen in 2016 and has spent the past 10 years living and working in the region. He is the founder and operator of The Strelitzia Project, home to the highest-rated Airbnbs in Playa del Carmen, and arguably across the state of Quintana Roo. You can see this project here.
Over the past five years running The Strelitzia Project, Jordan has helped thousands of guests discover the best restaurants, book beach clubs at preferred rates, and experience Playa beyond the tourist zones. Through this hands-on hosting, he saw a clear gap: visitors want trusted local recommendations, while many excellent restaurants struggle to reach the right audience.
That insight led to the creation of Top 10 Reserve — a concierge-style service that connects travelers with the best dining experiences in town while supporting local restaurants by helping fill empty seats. It’s a simple, win-win model built on real local knowledge and long-standing relationships.
Having built The Strelitzia Project entirely outside the tourist zone, Jordan understands firsthand how challenging it can be to build, sustain, and grow a successful business in the region. That experience shaped a strong desire to support the local restaurants and hospitality businesses he genuinely believes in—helping them gain visibility, attract the right guests, and thrive.

Isabel, Co-Founder
Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Isabel has built her career around hospitality and exceptional customer service. She currently works as a concierge at one of the top hotels in the Riviera Maya, where she specializes in delivering high-level VIP guest experiences.
With over 12 years living in Playa del Carmen, Isabel brings deep local knowledge of the region’s best restaurants, locations, and experiences. She has also successfully operated her own Airbnb properties, giving her a hands-on understanding of both guest expectations and operational excellence.
Isabel joined Top 10 Reserve in 2026, bringing a wealth of experience that ensures the service consistently delivers premium, detail-driven experiences for every user.
